Simbahang Lingkod ng Bayan (SLB) is leading the operations for collecting relief goods for Culion, among other affected areas.
Headed by Jesuit priest, Fr. Xavier Alpasa, SJ, it has been holding disaster-risk operations since 1986. It is a registered NGO, and social justice arm of Philippine province of Society of Jesus. It is coordinating with the local parish, La Inmaculad Concepcion Parish of Culion, which is led by Jesuit priests. The parish has been helping the island since lepers were brought there more than a century ago.
